When you add Contacts into Muzeek (and when they add you), you can choose how you'd like your information to display on their side - if at all.

Here's some helpful tips on how Privacy works in this area:

Choosing How You're Searched

In your Contacts section, there's a tab that allows other Muzeek users to filter their "Contacts" from "Everyone".

Contacts
are those who you have a relationship with and know their email. Once an email is added to the system, it unlocks that person as a Contact and they instantly become available to send Bookings to, add Private information for, check availabilities, and more. You can only add a Contact if you know their email, and vice versa.

Here's how that looks in your Contacts section:

Those who you have not yet interacted with and don't know their email will only be visible in the "Everyone" section. You can't send Booking confirmations to non-Contacts, and in order to interact with them you'll have to request a date on their public facing Calendar. (Of course, you can add them as a Contact if they give you their email or grant you access to add them.)

If you decide to not become searchable in the "Everyone" section, only your Contacts will be able to see you, and you'll effectively be hidden by everyone else. (It will be tougher for new people to get in touch with you, however.) You can adjust this setting in your Privacy section:

 Displaying Your Info to Contacts

When you're added as a Contact (or you add someone else as a Contact), there are three (3) unique pieces of information that will be displayed to that Contact:

  1. Full Name

  2. Email Address

  3. Phone Number (Optional)

Full Names and Email Addresses are always shown, as this is the primary information and method in which Contacts can get a hold of you. Here's how it will look to your Contacts on their end:

You can also choose which Users inside your account are displayed to others, as you may not want specific people to become Contactable in your account (Owners of accounts will always be displayed, so choose an Owner that best suits your operation). To toggle the display of Users to be "visible" or not, simply use the switches in the Privacy section:

When you turn the Visibility for a User "Off", that User and their information will not be displayed to others at all, even to other Contacts.

For Users you decide to make Visible, you also have the option to display their phone number if you'd like (similar to the image above). You can toggle that on and off in the Privacy section as well:

The Contacts section is available here and you can add as many Contacts as you want, so give it a try!
