What are the differences between Worksheets and Advance paperwork items?

There are two different kinds of Paperwork templates in addition to Contracts: Worksheets and Advances.

Worksheets tend to be static, unchanging documents that include basic details like venue layouts, technical set ups, parking information, artist sound lines, etc. These rarely change from booking to booking, but can be edited on the fly if needed.

Advances, on the other hand, are documents used to gather more detailed information from the other person that is usually dynamic, unique and/or constantly changing from booking to booking. Therefore, Advances allow you to add questions to the document that can be answered directly and seamlessly by the other person inside a booking.

This may be useful for things like clarifying VISA details, accomodate for special travel arrangements, or maybe to acquire specific information prior to an Event taking place that's not immediately necessary when confirming the booking. 

Here's how it works on Muzeek:

In your paperwork section located in your settings, you will find your default 'Advance Template'. This can be renamed and saved under any title:

Here, you can fully customize and add any additional questions or requests for your recipient to answer directly.

For example: 

  • What is the last show you did and how did it go?

  • Is accomodation provided for this booking?

  • Please provide your Set List:

  • Please add your flight number so we can track updates:

Once you have attached your template and sent the booking out for confirmation, the recipient can then simply open this document and seamlessly respond to your questions via the email Booking Summary that's sent to them. 

Note: This template can be also be toggled to be automatically attached to all incoming Booking Requests to save time with back and forth emails and messages. This way, if you have questions you'll need for anyone requesting a booking with you, they'll instantly receive this Advance to answer the questions when they request a date:
