Why Didn't My Synced Google Calendar Update Automatically?

Delays are normal with syncing your Google Calendars, as Google doesn't have dedicated sync timeframes unfortunately.

Once you have synced your Muzeek Calendar to your Google calendar, you may notice it didn't populate with your Events immediately; Google could take a little while to automatically update.

Not to worry: it is indeed synced dynamically but Google Calendar does update at random times, and not exactly immediately. Unfortunately this is something we cannot control directly on our end, as Google doesn't really have standard updating timeframes with their Calendars. However, most users tend to see their Calendar populate within a few hours on the first sync, and then new Events added after that are fairly immediate. (Google officially states that Calendars sync every "8-12 hours", but it's typically not that long.)

Although Google updates the calendar automatically from your Muzeek feed, it's unclear if Google plans on making this more immediate or with dedicated timeframes for syncing. Hopefully they make this faster in the future; if they do, your Calendar will automatically optimize as well.
