Connecting and Managing Your Muzeek Subscription via the Xero App Store

You can purchase a Muzeek subscription, login and manage your plan directly from XERO

When a user signs up for Muzeek through the Xero App Store by clicking the Muzeek icon, they will be provisioned with a free trial account on our Lite plan. You can then upgrade to a paid plan which is managed via your XERO account.

Step 1: Connecting to Xero

After selecting Muzeek from the Xero App Store, you will be directed to a screen where you can choose the Xero account you wish to connect with Muzeek. Once you confirm the connection, you will be automatically redirected to the Muzeek onboarding process. As shown in the following screenshot, you can enter your account details and customize your preferences. During this setup, you also have the option to skip or defer certain sections to streamline the process.

Step 2: Initial Setup


Once you’ve completed the initial setup steps, you will be directed to the Muzeek calendar page. Here, you can start managing key features of your new Muzeek Lite account, such as creating bookings and scheduling events.

If you decide to upgrade to a higher tier of Muzeek, you’ll gain access to additional features, including the ability to send invoices directly to Xero and manage other premium functionalities. These advanced features are outlined in the Xero Invoice Integration Guide.

Step 3: Managing Your Xero Integration & Upgrading Your Plan

To manage your Xero integration or upgrade your Muzeek account to a higher tier, navigate to your Xero App Store settings or use the settings menu within Muzeek. Simply click the Settings icon and select the Plans & Billing tab. From this section, you will see your current plan and options to upgrade to a higher tier. Clicking on any of the upgrade options will redirect you to Xero, where you can manage your subscription.

Once you’ve upgraded, you will have the option to return to Muzeek from within Xero. Please note that you may need to sign in to your Xero account if you're not already logged in during this process.

Step 4: Downgrading Your Account & Disconnecting your Xero Connection

If you wish to downgrade to the Lite plan or disconnect your Xero account from Muzeek, there are two options:

1. Via Xero Account Settings: Access your Xero settings and remove the Muzeek connection.

2. Via Muzeek Application: Navigate to the Settings page in Muzeek, click on Plans & Billing, and scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will find a Delete button next to your Xero connection. After clicking this, you will be prompted to confirm your action. If you proceed, your Muzeek account will be downgraded to the free Lite plan, and your Xero connection will be severed.
